These are the services that are provided to our members so that they are armed
with the most up to date information available. This will allow them to maintain
“Situational Awareness” and allow managers to make the sound decisions necessary
to keep their supply chain safe and secure.
Open Forums: Numerous open forums are setup so that our members can
post current situations, ask questions, post comments and share observations.
This is the most up to date information available since the media usually falls
short in reporting and official sources normally don't share this type of
information with the industry.
Lookouts and alerts: This section is reserved for BASIC to post
Lookouts and Alerts for the benefit of our members and the entities they
represent. These are items of immediate concern or threat that merit immediate
dissemination and will be posted immediately. A notification email will be sent
to all members advising them of the posting.
Quarterly Threat Analysis: BASIC
will publish a Quarterly Threat Analysis based on the information collected
through our members and other sources. This analysis can then be used by our
members to assess risks in their supply chain.
Risk Assessments: BASIC will provide a thorough Risk Assessments for
our members as an added service based on our current price schedule.
Security Consulting: BASIC will provide security consulting for our
members as an added service based on our current price schedule.
CTPAT Consulting and Program Administration: BASIC will provide
complete consulting services for the enrolment, certification, and maintenance
of the CTPAT program for our members as an added service based on our current
